Solagro Trade is a Ukrainian agricultural company operating in grain trading, agrochemicals, and energy resources. The company manages a distributed network of offices, warehouses, and logistics hubs across the country, including ports and export operations. As the business continues to grow, it requires a stable, flexible, and secure IT infrastructure capable of supporting daily operations and digital business services.
Summary
Before the project began, Solagro’s IT infrastructure required modernization, particularly the network infrastructure connecting the data center, headquarters, and branch offices. The company experienced unstable Wi-Fi, limited connectivity between locations and the central data center, and a lack of centralized cybersecurity controls, which negatively affected the reliability of business services.
Key business systems such as BI, ERP, and ARM experienced frequent disruptions due to inefficient routing and the absence of traffic prioritization. The network had been built on heterogeneous hardware with no unified management policies.
The Senseti team conducted consulting sessions, performed a business process and infrastructure audit, and designed a new network architecture. A modern solution based on Fortinet and Aruba technologies was implemented, including SD-WAN, centralized management, resilient connectivity, and a protected network perimeter.
As a result, the client received a stable, scalable, and secure IT environment that ensures uninterrupted operation of all branch offices and business services.

Before the project started, Solagro’s IT environment required significant modernization, particularly in the network infrastructure connecting the data center, headquarters, and branch offices. The company was growing rapidly, but the existing architecture no longer met the operational requirements of a modern agribusiness in terms of stability, security, and scalability.
The key challenges included:
- Insufficient level of comprehensive cybersecurity and the absence of a unified protection model
- Network infrastructure built on MikroTik equipment without centralized access policies
- Traffic centralized through the headquarters without optimized routing
- Frequent disruptions in BI, ERP, and ARM systems due to unstable connectivity
- Unstable office Wi-Fi with dead zones and limited bandwidth
- Increased risks of DDoS attacks, spam, malicious traffic, and external threats
- Lack of centralized network management and monitoring
The company required a deep IT modernization with improved security, flexibility, and resilience so that every office could reliably access cloud services while enabling the business to scale without operational risks.

Solution and Business Value
The Senseti team implemented a comprehensive project to build a secure, resilient, and centrally managed network infrastructure for Solagro from the ground up.
What was implemented:
- A full audit of the network infrastructure, business processes, and cloud services
- Design of a target architecture combining networking, security, and SD-WAN
- Implementation of an SD-WAN model with automatic link failover
- Deployment of Fortinet NGFW devices in the data center and branch offices with security policies
- Implementation of FortiManager for centralized management and FortiAnalyzer for logging and monitoring
- Complete replacement of the network core using Aruba switches
- Deployment of an enterprise-grade Wi-Fi network based on Aruba with RF planning and optimized access point placement
- Wireless network planning to ensure stable and full coverage across the office environment
Business Value:
- Improved stability of all IT systems and communication channels
- Multi-layer cybersecurity implemented across the entire infrastructure
- Direct cloud access from each office location
- Reliable video conferencing, uninterrupted meetings, and stable Wi-Fi connectivity
- Flexible architecture ready for scaling and future expansion
- Centralized network management and automated monitoring capabilities
