Infrastructure Automation and Sales Process Digitalization

About Company
Project Date: 2022 – 2025
Industry: Production
Employees: 140+
Website: https://interagropack.com/
Interagropack is a major manufacturer of packaging solutions for the dairy and food industries, working with international brands, including Danone. The company operates a distributed network of warehouses, offices, and retail outlets, delivering scalable contract manufacturing solutions in the FMCG sector.
Summary
Before the project began, Interagropack’s digital environment was fragmented and unstable. Offices, warehouses, and production facilities were not connected through a unified infrastructure. The core server was operating at maximum capacity, no CRM system existed, and accounting and document management processes remained largely manual.
The decision to launch a transformation project was triggered by the company director’s visit to the United States, where he observed a fully automated and highly reliable production environment. This experience became the starting point for the company’s digital transformation initiative.
The Senseti team conducted a comprehensive audit and implemented a resilient on-premises data center with redundancy. A server cluster was deployed along with Aruba enterprise Wi-Fi, Fortinet security infrastructure, and the Creatio CRM platform integrated with telephony and management accounting systems. Remote stores and distributed facilities were securely connected via encrypted VPN tunnels.
In addition, new corporate networks were designed and deployed from scratch, incorporating segmentation and centralized management. A dedicated server room was also engineered and implemented, meeting requirements for power redundancy, cooling, high availability, and future scalability.
As a result, Interagropack received a reliable and scalable IT environment that connects all key elements of the business — from warehouse operations to the sales department. Order processing speed improved, operational transparency increased, and customer service quality significantly enhanced.

Thanks to the new IT infrastructure, our offices, warehouses, and stores are now connected into a single digital system. This significantly accelerated our sales operations and improved process transparency. The Senseti team executed the project exactly according to plan and demonstrated a high level of professionalism.

Before the project began, Interagropack’s IT environment represented a fragmented and unstable system that limited the company’s growth.
Key challenges included:
- Offices, warehouses, and retail locations were not connected through a unified infrastructure. Each site operated independently without centralized access or management.
- The main server handled multiple critical functions simultaneously — from database operations to file storage — leading to frequent disruptions and performance issues.
- Wi-Fi networks and telephony relied on consumer-grade equipment that was unstable, unmanaged, and unsuitable for business-scale operations.
- No CRM system existed. Sales processes were handled manually without transparent order tracking, customer management, or communication history.
- There was no backup system, antivirus protection, access restrictions, or other fundamental security mechanisms.
- A structured cybersecurity model was absent: there were no security policies, access controls, network segmentation, or centralized threat monitoring.
As the company continued to grow and the number of orders increased, it became critically important to implement a scalable, resilient, and centrally managed IT platform.

Solution and Business Value
The Senseti team delivered a comprehensive transformation project that combined the deployment of resilient infrastructure with the automation of key business processes — from logistics to sales.
What was implemented:
- A dedicated on-premises data center with a server cluster optimized for logistics, communication, and document management workloads.
- Creatio CRM deployed and deeply integrated with warehouse accounting, telephony, and management reporting systems.
- Webitel digital telephony infrastructure implemented, including SIP architecture, call routing, recording, and CRM integration.
- Network segmentation using VLANs based on the designed architecture to ensure security and operational stability.
- Enterprise Wi-Fi network based on Aruba technology, centrally managed through AirWave, providing full coverage for offices, warehouses, and retail locations.
- A Fortinet security cluster with NGFW, VPN connectivity, and Trellix protection, ensuring perimeter defense, traffic filtering, and secure encrypted connectivity for remote stores.
- Microsoft Active Directory deployed for centralized user management, access policies, and permission control.
- A fault-tolerant terminal server cluster implemented to provide secure access to CRM and business applications.
- All retail locations connected to the central infrastructure through secure Fortinet VPN tunnels, eliminating risks of data leakage or external interference.
- A dedicated on-site IT specialist operating under Senseti’s service desk management.
- Introduction of the virtual CIO (vCIO) role to guide the long-term development of the company’s digital environment.
Business Value:
- The company’s entire infrastructure — from retail locations to offices — is now integrated into a unified digital ecosystem.
- Improved transparency of order management, logistics operations, and customer interactions.
- Downtime risks and system disruptions were eliminated, while protection against external threats and internal errors significantly improved.
- The business gained a reliable platform for scaling operations, expanding infrastructure, and further automation.
How the Solution Was Implemented
The Interagropack digital transformation project was implemented in several phases, taking into account the company’s production and logistics model, distributed infrastructure, and strict security requirements.
Phase 1: Audit and Consulting
The Senseti team conducted a comprehensive audit of the entire IT environment, including servers, networks, warehouses, retail locations, and workstations. Vulnerabilities were identified, critical risks documented, and requirements gathered for sales, logistics, and document management processes.
Phase 2: Architecture Design
A comprehensive architecture for the new environment was developed, including an on-premises data center, a centralized network, high-availability access mechanisms, identity and access management systems, and integrations between CRM, telephony, and remote facilities via secure VPN connections.
Phase 3: Hardware Deployment
HPE servers, Aruba switches and access points, Fortinet security solutions, Trellix endpoint protection, and engineering infrastructure equipment (racks, UPS systems, and cooling) were delivered and installed.
Phase 4: Integration and Deployment
A VMware cluster was deployed along with Microsoft Active Directory, terminal servers, Creatio CRM, and Webitel IP telephony. API integrations were implemented with accounting and logistics systems, and centralized access management was configured.
Additional information systems were deployed to ensure stable, secure, and fault-tolerant business operations. Data center monitoring and management tools were also introduced to provide centralized infrastructure oversight.
Phase 5: Store Connectivity and Migration
Remote stores were connected through Fortinet VPN tunnels. All users were migrated to the new infrastructure and centralized access to services was established without disrupting ongoing operations.
Phase 6: Testing and Ongoing Support
The infrastructure underwent stress testing and failover scenario validation. After the launch, the environment was transferred to managed support under an SLA agreement, with a virtual CIO (vCIO) appointed by Senseti and a local IT specialist assigned on the client’s side.
